Is this an official government site?
No. Complyora is an independent photo compliance tool and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of State, the UK Home Office, or any government agency. We produce photos formatted to the published rules; final acceptance is at the embassy, consulate, or visa application centre's discretion.
How does the no-charge-until-pass guarantee work?
Stripe places a hold on your card at checkout (an authorization, not a charge). If our compliance check passes after we process your photo, we capture the funds. If we can't deliver a compliant photo, we release the hold and you're never billed — usually within a few business days, depending on your bank.
Do you change what I look like?
No. We don't smooth skin, reshape facial features, modify hair, or apply beautification filters. The U.S. State Department explicitly warns against AI-modified photos; that guidance also lines up with the UK Home Office's biometric requirements.
How long does it take?
Most users finish in 3–5 minutes: a quick upload, a free pre-check, payment, then 3–4 minutes of background processing. We email you when your photo is ready, so you don't have to wait on the page.
